When it comes to kefir, most people associate it with probiotics and dairy. While milk kefir is a well-known and popular choice in the Western diet, there is another type of kefir that is equally deserving of attention: water kefir!

This can help make the switch more manageable, as it won't require drastic changes all at once.

Veganuary has a wonderful free celebrity cookbook that you can download here to get started filled with delicious recipes! Personally there are a few blogs and recipe websites that have never let us down and we take inspiration from in our own home cooking, here are our top recommendations:

3. Don’t forget about your key nutrients
Meal plan to ensure that you get all the necessary vitamins and minerals from vegan sources, such as nuts, fruits, vegetables and legumes. You can also supplement your diet with vegan vitamins like B12 if desired.
