How to Get Started with Veganuary

Going vegan can be a big change, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. There are many delicious and nutritious plant-based options available, and with a little planning and preparation, you can easily incorporate them into your diet. Here are a few tips to get you started.

1. Start by making small changes

Taking small steps is key to transitioning your diet in a sustainable and healthy way. Consider gradually reducing your intake of animal products and incorporating more plant-based options into your meals. This can help make the switch more manageable, as it won't require drastic changes all at once.

2. Experiment and explore new recipes

Veganuary has a wonderful free celebrity cookbook that you can download here to get started filled with delicious recipes! Personally there are a few blogs and recipe websites that have never let us down and we take inspiration from in our own home cooking, here are our top recommendations:

3. Don’t forget about your key nutrients

Meal plan to ensure that you get all the necessary vitamins and minerals from vegan sources, such as nuts, fruits, vegetables and legumes. You can also supplement your diet with vegan vitamins like B12 if desired.
