I am in love with mint-lime flavour combination and Mojito is one of my absolute favourite cocktails to enjoy on a summer night.
We’ve got a lot of mint growing in our garden, and even now in October fresh new leaves keep tempting me to continue with the summer traditions.
This classic mojito version looks delicious and tastes like summer with a refreshing zest.
I typically use around 20 fresh mint leaves per mojito to make it extra minty, but you can use as little as 10 leaves per serving
Classic Mojito Kefir Cocktail
Ingredients:
- ½ Lime (squeezed) and an extra slice for garnish
- 1tsp of organic cane sugar
- 1 shot of PiQi Original Kefir
- 10-20 fresh mint leaves
- Sparkling water or soda water to top up
- Ice cubes
Wash and prep your mint, allow some time for it to dry. In a glass mix fresh mint leaves, lime juice and sugar. Muddle the mixture until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Add ice cubes to the glass and a shot or two of Original Kefir. Give it a stir. Top up with chilled soda water and add a garnish which can be a slice of lime or fresh mint leaves on top.
Enjoy the amazing taste of mojito sans alcohol.
